Featuring a pair of 25-lap, high-intensity feature races, the Twin 25’s on Saturday, August 12 will pit drivers in the National Pavement Midget Championship against one another for a shot at a BIG pay day!
For the driver who wins the first feature, he or she will start the next race from the tail of the field. If that driver can race through the field and win the second feature, they will take home a $50,000 BONUS on top of the race payout purse.
Only one driver has done it in history – the late Dave Steele in 2002. Join us on August 12 as we chase history once again!
But… that’s not all! On the same evening we will also welcome the ASA/CRA Super Series for a pair of 50-lap races in the Twin 50’s! Each race will pay $5,000 to win in addition to a $300 to start baseline. Rounding out the five-feature evening will be the Midget All-Star Challenge, featuring USAC Eastern Focus Midget and NEMA Lites, capping one of the biggest weekends on the 2023 racing calendar!
RACE FORMAT
Check out the event structure for the Twin 25’s, which includes two 25-lap feature races from the National Pavement Midget Championship.
QUALIFYING
Two-lap qualifying, where Lap 1 time sets field for Race 1, and Lap 2 time sets field for Race 2.
INVERSIONS
Each race will have an invert drawn by the qualifying pole sitter, with options including zero-, four-, six-, or eight-position inversions.
RACES
Each race will be 25 laps in duration, with the winner of Race 1 starting last for Race 2. Teams are permitted to change tires after Race 1, however the right rear must be purchased and stamped on-site.
