OSHKOSH – The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, lost to the Indiana Mad Ants 121-110. Milwaukee Bucks Two-Way player TyTy Washington Jr. led the Herd with 28 points while Wenyen Gabriel posted 21 points.

The Indiana Mad Ants’ top scorer was Kyle Mangas with 28 points followed by Craig Sword with 20 points. Pedro Bradshaw added a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds.

FIRST QUARTER

The Mad Ants scored the first five points of the game, but Glenn Robinson III hit a three-point basket to pause the run. Indiana did not stop there and proceeded to build to a double-digit head start at the seven-minute mark. Wenyen Gabriel converted a layup, but the Mad Ants prevailed once more with an 11-point advantage. The teams traded baskets until Indiana hit three straight baskets. The Herd battled back resulting in the lead fluctuating between 13-16. Ultimately, Indiana remained ahead 39-21 at the conclusion of the first quarter.

SECOND QUARTER

Indiana secured a layup to start the second quarter, but the Herd wasn’t too far away cutting the lead down to 14. Wisconsin continued the momentum hitting three straight baskets during the five-minute mark. The Herd rallied to take the Mad Ants down to a five-point edge with three minutes remaining in the half. The teams traded baskets until Marques Bolden and Glenn Robinson III hit consecutive baskets to bring the Herd within two. Indiana hit a last-second shot to go up 58-54 at the break. TyTy Washington Jr. guided the Herd with 21 points in the first half.

THIRD QUARTER

Marques Bolden secured a layup to put the Herd within two at the beginning of the third quarter. The teams went back and forth until Indiana converted on seven sequential points to grab a double-digit lead. Wenyen Gabriel broke up the run with a four-foot hook shot. Indiana countered outscoring the Herd 11-4 for the next four minutes. Drew Timme secured a buzzer-beater three-point shot to close out the quarter. The Mad Ants led the Herd 96-78.

FOURTH QUARTER

Isiaih Mosley hit a 13-foot jump shot to begin the fourth quarter for the Herd. Wisconsin hit back-to-back three-point plays but the Mad Ants still controlled the game with a 20-point head start with seven minutes remaining. Wisconsin started to chip away at the Mad Ants’ advantage converting on three successive baskets.  Chris Livingston and Glenn Robinson III combined for five points to make it a ten-point game. The Herd continued to power through cutting the Mad Ants’ lead to five with a minute and a half remaining. Indiana scored the next six points to secure the win 121-110.
