GAME 21 – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 AT WHEELING – 4-1 L
The Fuel headed to Wheeling, West Virginia for their fourth matchup with the Nailers this month to begin their weekend. Despite scoring first, the Fuel ultimately fell to the Nailers 4-1.
GAME 22 – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16 VS. KALAMAZOO – 3-2 L
The Fuel hosted the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night for their annual Teddy Bear Toss game. In front of a sold-out crowd of 6,319 fans, the Fuel collected 5,875 stuffed animals in a thrilling game that ultimately ended 3-2 in Kalamazoo’s favor.

- Cam Hillis is once again is on a point streak, with a three-game streak. He is still leading the Fuel in points with 23.
- Captain Seamus Malone is one goal away from ten game-winning goals, the most in the franchise. He scored on Friday’s contest at Wheeling.
- Malone is also on a three-game road scoring streak.
- Goalie Zach Driscoll is still in the top twenty goaltenders in the league, with a save percentage of .906.
TEAM NOTES
- On Saturday, the Fuel collected 5,875 stuffed animals with their Teddy Bear Toss Night to support WRTV’s Toy Drive.
- The Fuel are still fifth in the league at home on the penalty kill. Heading into a weekend of away games, the team looks to improve their away penalty kill.
- In Saturday’s contest against Kalamazoo, the Fuel outshot the K-Wings 26-19. With playing them twice this weekend, the team will need to keep that dominance.
