The Indiana Mad Ants dropped their 2023-2024 home opener to the Windy City Bulls 105-100. The Mad Ants led at halftime 45-39. After pushing the lead to seven at the end of the third quarter, the Bulls outscored the Mad Ants 38-25 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
The Mad Ants had five players scoring in double figures. The leading scorer was Craig Sword with 17 points. Oscar Tshiebwe had 15 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. He had 33 points and 23 rebounds against Sioux Falls in the season opener. Reid Travis had 15, Isaiah Wong had 13 and Darius McGhee had 10 points in the game.
The Mad Ants will turn around and play the Grand Rapids Gold tonight at 6:00 at Gainbridge Field House. The game will be telecast on ESPN+.
