The Indianapolis Colts finished their last practice in the States before departing for Germany to take on the New England Patriots.

While Wednesday’s practice was just a walkthrough for the Colts, Shane Steichen’s squad was back on the field Thursday. For the Patriots, they conducted two practices this week before heading across the pond.

Here are the official injury reports for the Colts and Patriots from Thursday.

COLTS

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY

  • Did Not Participate – CB JuJu Brents (quad), WR Josh Downs (knee), TE Drew Ogletree (foot)
  • Limited Participant – LB Zaire Franklin (knee), WR Alec Pierce (ankle)
  • Full Participant – CB Tony Brown (concussion), OT Braden Smith (hip/wrist)

Smith was given a full designation for the second day in a row. The Colts starting right tackle has missed the last four games dealing with hip and wrist injuries. If Smith does return this week, it would mark the first time since Week 2 that the Colts have had the entirety of their starting offensive line.

Franklin returned to practice today after missing last week’s game with a knee injury. As for Brents and Ogletree, the Colts announced that neither player will travel with the team to Germany due to their injuries. The Colts will now officially be without at least two starters on Sunday.

PATRIOTS

WEDNESDAY

  • Did Not Participate – OT Trent Brown (personal/ankle), CB J.C. Jackson (personal)
  • Limited Participant – DL Christian Barmore (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (hamstring), CB Myles Bryant (chest), WR Demario Douglas (ankle), CB Jonathan Jones (knee), OL Vederian Lowe (ankle), WR DeVante Parker (concussion), DL Deatrich Wise Jr. (shoulder)

THURSDAY

  • Did Not Participate – CB J.C. Jackson (personal)
  • Limited Participant – DL Christian Barmore (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (hamstring), OT Trent Brown (personal/ankle), CB Myles Bryant (chest), WR Demario Douglas (ankle), CB Jonathan Jones (knee), OL Vederian Lowe (ankle), WR DeVante Parker (concussion), DL Deatrich Wise Jr. (shoulder)

The Patriots are dealing with a plethora of injuries across the board, but only one player has not practiced in some capacity this week. Jackson is not expected to travel to Germany with the team, according to reports. On-field play combined with off-field issues have contributed to a trying situation for the cornerback.
