Indy Eleven Acquire Taghvai-Najib on Loan

Midfielder comes to Indy from Inter Miami CF

INDIANAPOLIS Indy Eleven has today announced the acquisition of midfielder Braxton Taghvai-Najib on loan from MLS NEXT Pro-side Inter Miami CF II. Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed and Taghvai-Najib will be available for selection Sunday against Rio Grande Valley FC.

Taghvai-Najib has appeared in 53 matches over three seasons with Inter Miami CF II, including 32 as part of the MLS NEXT Pro league (2022-23). During the 2020 season, he saw action in six games with USLC-side Birmingham Legion.

The American-Iranian dual citizen played with the Real Salt Lake youth academy and spent time with Pateadores SC out of Orange County. Prior to signing his first contract with Birmingham, Taghvai-Najib trialed with European clubs Sporting Lisbon and Dinamo Zagreb among others.
