Seventy USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget cars are entered for the fifth running of the Driven2SaveLives BC39 on Sept. 27-30 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Among the drivers assigned to entries are past BC39 winners Brady Bacon (2018) and Buddy Kofoid (2022). Kofoid will drive one of seven entries for Keith Kunz/Curb-Agajanian Motorsports in the event, which is expanding to four nights this year.

Other entries include current National Midget points leader and 2018 national champion Logan Seavey, two-time USAC national champion Justin Grant, 2019 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car national champion C.J. Leary of nearby Greenfield, Indiana. 2022 USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year Mitchel Moles, who led the first 12 laps of last year’s feature, also will race.

2022 BC39 runner-up Cannon McIntosh will drive one of the latest entries, for the Dave Mac-Dalby Motorsports team. McIntosh led 20 of the 39 laps last year on the quarter-mile dirt track inside Turn 3 of the IMS oval.

Other drivers entered include USAC Triple Crown champion Jerry Coons and fan favorites Kevin Thomas Jr. and Thomas “TMez” Meseraull, along with female racers Kaylee Bryson and Jade Avedisian, Taylor Reimer, Mariah Ede and Randi Pankratz. Adam Andretti, the nephew of the legendary Mario Andretti, also is assigned to an entry.

The event will continue to honor late USAC champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 starter Bryan Clauson and increase awareness of and participation in the Indiana Donor Network and Driven2SaveLives.

Action expands to four nights this year under the lights. Practice and the exciting Stoops Pursuit race will be featured Wednesday, Sept. 27. The field will be split in two for the next two nights, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 28-29, for hot laps, qualifying, heat races, the C-Main, semi-feature and feature.

The finale Saturday, Sept. 30, will start with practice followed by the D-Main, multiple C-Mains, the semi-feature and the 39-lap feature paying an impressive $20,039 to win.
