Circle City Roller Derby is fresh off a great 2023 season and ready to recruit new skaters! Our Fall New Member Workshop will be Sundays, September 10 to October 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This six week boot camp is open to new members, retired players looking to get involved with roller derby again, and transfer skaters considering making the move to CCRD. Skaters with previous bouting experience are only required to attend the final session on October 15.
Registration is $40 per person.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have all required safety gear including quad skates, helmet, mouth guard, elbow pads, wrist guards and knee pads. Some loaner gear is available to borrow, please contact [email protected] for more information. Personal medical insurance is highly recommended for workshop participants.
At the completion of the workshop, skaters will be eligible to join the league and attend regular practices with the entire team. League members must pay monthly dues and purchase insurance through the WFTDA.
