INDIANAPOLIS – Local Indianapolis station WHMB-TV 40 will air season one of Indy Eleven’s Undrafted Friday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET starting May 3rd.

The debut season followed current small college players and alums of small colleges as they showcased their talents for the Indy Eleven coaching staff in their journey to earn a spot in Indy Eleven’s 2024 preseason training camp. Indy Eleven’s creative team captured this unique pathway to the pros in an episodic series that initially aired both locally and nationally across various platforms.

“WHMB-TV 40 and Family Broadcasting Corporation are very excited to be teaming up with Indy Eleven this year in airing their half hour weekly Undrafted program,” said Keith Passon with WHMB. “Undrafted featured 72 amateur soccer players and their descent on Indianapolis with the hopes of earning a pro contract with Indy Eleven.”

The show will follow Inside the Indians, which is hosted by the voice of the Indianapolis Indians, Howard Kellman. In addition to its coverage of the Indians, WHMB airs the Hoosier Basketball Experience with Phil Isenbarger and highlights football, basketball and soccer coverage across Indianapolis.

“We’re very pleased to partner with WHMB-TV 40 to showcase the talented players in our Undrafted program,” said Greg Stremlaw, President and CEO of Indy Eleven. “We’re proud to offer this first of its kind experience and are happy to work with WHMB in amplifying it across the Indianapolis market.”
