Mad Ants Defeat Motor City 100-91 2/1

DETROIT – The Motor City Cruise (7-7) fell to the Indiana Mad Ants (10-5) in tonight’s game, with a score of 100-91.

After holding Motor City to shooting just 23.9% from the field in the first half, Pedro Bradshaw scored 20 points and led Indiana to shoot 46.2% as a team.

Trailing 57-35,  Jared Rhoden scored 10 points in the third quarter alone and Motor City outscored Indiana 31-20 in the third quarter. Motor City trailed by 11, heading into the final quarter (77-66).

Motor City strived to make a comeback, however Indiana’s offense stayed competitive in the final quarter to secure the win.

Leading tonight’s game for the Mad Ants was Pedro Bradshaw. Bradshaw scored 24 and grabbed 10 rebounds to secure a double-double. Jordan Bell also secured a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Kyle Mangas finished tonight’s game with 20 points.

Zavier Simpson shot 50% (9-18) from the floor to lead Motor City with 22 points. Detroit Pistons two-way, Jared Rhoden followed with 21 points. Nathan Knight secured his ninth NBA G League career double-double after scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
