WESTFIELD – Indy Eleven defeated Indiana Wesleyan University, 5-0, in preseason action on Tuesday afternoon at the Grand Park Events Center.
Indy got on the board three times in the first frame, with a pair coming from Jack Blake in the 12th and 31st minutes. The third tally came from newcomer Karsen Henderlong off an assist from Douglas Martinez.
Second half scoring began in the 50th minute, with Martinez registering his second assist of the afternoon on a pass to Roberto Molina and closed out with a strike from Augi Williams in the 65th.
In goal, Yannik Oettl went the distance, securing Indy’s third preseason shutout.
Preseason action continues Sunday against Columbus Crew2. The match at the Grand Park Events Center is open to the public.
