ABOUT THE HOCKEY:
INDIANAPOLIS– The Fuel will host the Iowa Heartlanders on Friday night for their International Women’s Month Celebration game. Indy will look for their fifth win this season over Iowa in an attempt to hold their spot in the standings.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time these two teams played was February 17, when the Fuel completed a three-game sweep of the Heartlanders in Iowa as part of their seven-game win streak. Kyle Maksimovich had the game winning goal while Zach Driscoll blocked 22 shots.
MAD MARTIN
Jon Martin became the Fuel’s sole leading goal scorer with two goals on Tuesday morning. He will look to score his twentieth goal of the season this weekend to become the first Fuel player this season to reach twenty goals.
