CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Charge (5-7) were defeated by the Indiana Mad Ants (10-1), 146-117, in front of a crowd of 4,430 at the Wolstein Center on Saturday night.
Six Charge players scored in double figures, led by Pete Nance with 22 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Sharife Cooper followed with 17 points and four assists while Two-Way player Emoni Bates totaled 15 points and eight rebounds. Three players came off the bench to contribute double-digit scoring – Devontae Shuler (15), Rob Edwards (14), and Olin Carter III (13).
Seven of eight Mad Ants finished in double digits. Kyle Mangas paced the team with 31 points, knocking down seven of the team’s 26 threes. Stephan Hicks and Reid Travis both recorded double-doubles off the bench with 24 points and 11 boards and 21 points with 11 boards, respectively. Pedro Bradshaw rounded out the twenty-point scorers with 20, going a perfect four-for-four from behind the arc.
