ABOUT THE HOCKEY:

INDIANAPOLIS– The Fuel host the Kalamazoo Wings for the fourth meeting between these two teams on Saturday night. The K-Wings have taken two of the first three games between these two teams so the Fuel will look to even the score before sending them home.

LAST TIME OUT

The last time these two teams met was November 3 when Kalamazoo took a 2-1 win. Ryan Gagnier scored the Fuel’s lone goal early in the third period to attempt a comeback. Goaltender Zach Driscoll had 24 saves in net.

RUNNING UP THAT HILLIS

Cam Hillis isn’t afraid of Vecna, as he leads the team in scoring and has at least one point in every home game so far this season. Hillis had 50 points in 45 games with the Fuel last season and tallied one point in the postseason.

FREQUENT OPPONENT

The Fuel play the K-Wings more than any other team this season. With fourteen regular season matchups, they are less than a fourth of the way through their total meetings with Kalamazoo. Last season, the Fuel went 10-3-2-0 against the Wings and look to improve to a similar record against their division rival again this season.
