INDY FUEL WEEK FIVE RESULTS 1-2-0
INDY FUEL OVERALL RECORD 3-7-1 (7th in Central Division)
GAME 9 – FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 VS. WHEELING – 4-1 W
The Fuel hosted the Wheeling Nailers for the first time this season on Friday night to kick off a three-in-three weekend. On Survivor Night, Indy snuffed Wheeling’s torch by defeating them 4-1 in regulation to start their weekend.
GAME 10 – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18 VS. KALAMAZOO – 0-4 L
The Fuel hosted the Kalamazoo Wings in the fourth matchup between these two division rivals this season. Despite outshooting Kalamazoo, the Fuel fell 4-0 on Hawkins, IN Night.
GAME 11 – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 VS. TOLEDO – 1-4 L
The Fuel finished off their weekend hosting the Toledo Walleye for Family Fun Day. Despite heading into the third period tied 1-1, the Walleye scored three in the third period to take the 4-1 win over Indy.
OIL DROPS
- Goalie Mitchell Weeks got his first win of the season on Friday and was named the second star of the game.
- Anthony Firriolo scored his first professional goal on Friday, with Bryan Lemos marking his first assist back on the Fuel.
- Defenseman Santino Centorame netted his first goal of the season and was the Fuel’s lone scorer on Sunday against Toledo.
TEAM NOTES
- The Fuel’s record is 3-1-0 when scoring first. This was proven in the match-up against Wheeling on Friday.
- Utlizing the busy home game weekend, the Fuel improved their home penalty kill percentage. They PK percentage is 82.6%.
- Extra thankfulness this week as the Fuel need to squash their 4 game road lose streak.
- On Friday, the Fuel only shot twice during the 3rd period.
