Fuel Names PPG as Founding Partner, First Official Sponsor of New Fishers Event Center

INDIANAPOLIS, IN  — The Indy Fuel has reached a multi-year corporate marketing agreement with PPG’s Architectural Coatings business in the U.S. to serve as a Founding Partner and the First Official Sponsor of the new Fishers Event Center. As part of the marketing agreement, PPG’s mainline paint brand, PPG Paints™ will be an Official Partner of the Indy Fuel with PPG paints and coatings featured on multiple interior and exterior surfaces of the new Event Center in Fishers.

For years, PPG has collaborated with the National Hockey League (NHL)  to integrate its innovative products into the game of hockey and the Indy Fuel is proud to bring this partner to the ECHL with the Indianapolis hockey fan in mind. PPG’s partnership role will include opportunities for on-site activation, game night signage, engagement with fans, as well as digital, and social content. PPG Paints will also serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the annual “Paint the Ice” program – an annual event showcasing fans artistic talents as they are welcomed to decorate the playing surface with PPG paint products. PPG’s do-it-yourself brand – GLIDDEN® paint by PPG will also get in on the action through feature in promotional material and on center ice as the premier brand logo featured through in-game signage and programming.

Beginning in the 2024-2025 hockey season, the Indy Fuel will call the Fishers Event Center home.

The Indy Fuel, along with other Fishers community leaders broke ground on the new center in March and is slated to open in late 2024.

The new 8,500-seat multi-purpose sports, entertainment and music venue will be the new home of the Indy Fuel beginning in the 2024-25 season. The Fuel will be the anchor of the new event space that will also play home to other sporting events, concerts and activities.
