TAMPA/INDIANAPOLIS – After helping lead Indy Eleven to its first USL Championship Playoff berth since 2019, Adrian Diz Pe and Cam Lindley were named second-team, all-league selections, USLC officials announced Tuesday.

Along with a return to the playoffs, the duo is the first pair to be honored by the USL Championship since Neveal Hackshaw and Tyler Pasher earned second-team accolades in 2020.

No stranger to league nods, Diz Pe earned four team of the week selections during the 2023 season and added a pair of bench honors. The defender played in 30 regular season matches, making 28 starts, for a total of 2,508 minutes. Diz Pe finished the regular season with 142 clearances (6th USLC), 94 aerial duals won (7th), 193 duels won (T9th), 49 interceptions (T11th) and 38 tackles won (T24th), leading the team in each of the categories.

Diz Pe played in a total of 31 matches, starting 29, totaling 2,598 minutes of action. He won 202 duels, 98 ariel duels, registered 149 clearances and 50 interceptions, while adding 18 shots. His three goals tied for the sixth most by a defender in the league.

On September 2 versus Miami, Diz Pe surpassed the 10,000-minute mark in regular season action and now sits at 10,600, while also playing in his 100th game on March 11 at Tampa Bay. He ranks in the league’s top 20 all-time in clearances (9th, 601), aerial duels won (16th, 372) and duels won (17th, 793).

This is the second consecutive season Lindley has earned a league nod, picking up a second-team selection as part of Colorado Springs in 2022. Lindley started all 33 regular season matches played, totaling 2,810 minutes. He finished the regular season second in the USLC in passes at 2,226, was tied for sixth with eight assists added 57 chances created, good for a tie for sixth. He also added a goal.

Overall, Lindley played and started in 34 matches and led the team in assists, passes and chances created. The midfielder registered six of his eight assists in the last six matches of the season.

Lindley joined Diz Pe in eclipsing 10,000 minutes in the game versus Miami and now sits at 10,537. He is ninth on the USLC’s all-time list with 275 chances created.

Lindley was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week twice in 2023, was a one-time bench selection and earned USL Championship Goal of the Week for week 16, along with securing the No. 10 spot on SportsCenter Top 10.

The Boys in Blue finished the 2023 regular season 13-11-10 and earned the No. 6 seed in the USLC Playoffs, the first appearance since 2019. The eight road wins were the most for the club in USLC regular season action. The season ended with a loss to No. 3 Charleston in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal.
