KC Carter, a well-respected figure in the world of football, has been a driving force behind the success of the Indianapolis Enforcers Pro Arena Football Team. As both the Owner and Head Coach of the Enforcers, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, which will undoubtedly transfer to his role with the Octane.

In addition to his coaching prowess, KC Carter also serves as one of the Minor League Football Report Representatives for the esteemed Minor League Hall of Fame, showcasing his dedication to preserving the sport’s rich history.

Carter’s influence extends even further as he holds the prestigious position of Commissioner of the National Football Association, further highlighting his dedication to the sport’s development and growth at various levels.

Reflecting on his journey, KC Carter’s roots trace back to his youth, where he was an active member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts during the 1970s. He attended St. Rita IPS School #11 for grades 2-6 before progressing to middle schools IPS #80 and IPS #59. Graduating from Broad Ripple High School in 1984, he excelled in both track and football, earning a four-year letterman status. His basketball skills were equally impressive during his two and a half years on the Ripple basketball team.

Upon enrolling at Indiana State University in 1984, KC Carter’s dreams of playing college football were disrupted by an ankle injury. However, he rebounded in the spring of 1985 by trying out for the Indiana Pony Express Semi-Pro Football Team, successfully earning his place on the roster. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career, allowing him to play the game he loved while receiving compensation for his efforts.

With over 37 years of involvement in semi-pro football, including 10 years as a player and 25 years as a coach, KC Carter’s impact on the sport is immeasurable. He has also served as the Mid-Eastern Football Commissioner for two and a half years, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the football community.

KC Carter’s coaching career has been marked by excellence, with a record of 161 wins, 75 losses, and 1 tie across various levels, including Youth Football, Middle School, Semi-Pro Football, and even Women’s Pro Football. His playoff record stands at 4-4 in the Semi-Pro category, with 7 championships in Youth Football. His coaching accolades also include a record of 2-1 in Middle School Bowl games.

Expanding upon his coaching journey, KC Carter’s Indoor coaching record stands at 29-23, with a playoff record of 1-4. These accomplishments culminate in a remarkable coaching career with a total of 190 wins and 98 losses over 35 years. His remarkable contributions to the sport have earned him two well-deserved inductions into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame.

Outside of his football career, KC Carter has dedicated 22 years to serving as a Marion County Sheriff Special Deputy Sergeant for the Marion County Health Department, showcasing his love and respect for his job and the responsibilities it entails.
