Indianapolis Colts rookie offensive tackle Blake Freeland will make his first career start Sunday at left tackle against the Los Angeles Rams.
Not that this is much of a surprise, but Freeland will make his starting debut Sunday, replacing Bernhard Raimann. The latter will be inactive due to a concussion he suffered during practice this week.

Freeland was a fourth-round pick with the Colts during the 2023 NFL draft and saw some first-team reps during training camp when right tackle Braden Smith missed some time.
Also out for the Colts will be center Ryan Kelly, who failed to pass through the league’s concussion this week. It will be Wesley French again under center making his second career start.
