Why do you play roller derby?
I’m attracted to roller derby for the ability to feel strong and powerful on the track. Bonus points that I have made some amazing teamies and best friends along the way.
How did you choose the name Rita Repulsa?
I chose Rita Repulsa from power rangers because she’s evil, powerful and a little unhinged.
What’s your favorite part of roller derby?
Cheering. For everyone. The comraderie between every team, player, ref and NSO.
Why did you choose Circle City Roller Derby?
Circle City brings the right amount of shenanigans, skill and competitiveness.
Name one fun fact about yourself!
I can deadlift 310 pounds and dang proud of it. (Honestly it’s been a while since we’ve asked Rita this question- she may be lifting more now)
