The Indianapolis Colts released their final practice report before their first regular season game of the 2023 season.
Second-round pick Julius Brents was not at practice on Friday. Head coach Shane Steichen told the media that Brents was dealing with a personal issue.
“He was gone for a personal reason, but he’ll be back,” said Steichen.
It appears that this reason will not impact Brents’ availability on Sunday for the regular-season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars as he was given no designation on the final injury report and Steichen did not rule anyone out.
Brents, a highly-touted rookie, is still working his way up the depth chart after missing spring workouts due to wrist surgery and a hamstring injury during training camp.
