Boudadi Named to USLC Team of the Week

TAMPA/INDIANAPOLIS – Younes Boudadi helped Indy Eleven to a 1-0 win over The Miami FC Saturday, earning himself USL Championship Team of the Week honors, league officials announced Tuesday.

Boudadi registered his fourth assist of the season, second most for the Boys in Blue, to help extend Indy’s unbeaten streak to six matches. He added three clearances, six recoveries and completed 39 of 48 passes.

This is the fourth USLC honor for Boudadi. He was selected to the week nine team of the week and the weeks 23 and 25 bench.

The Boys in Blue are off during week 27 and return to action for the first match of a two-game road swing against New Mexico United Friday, September 15. The match can be seen on ESPN+. Indy is currently riding a six-match unbeaten streak, winning five of six, and are 11-9-8 in USL Championship sitting in sixth place in the USLC Eastern Conference.
