Pacers Summer League Schedule

Indiana Pacers 2023 NBA Summer League schedule announced

The Pacers new rookies will debut for the team in Las Vegas

The NBA announced the 2023 Summer League schedule last week, meaning the Indiana Pacers exhibition schedule is known.

The games will be played in the Thomas & Mack Center as well as the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. Vegas Summer League play is set to span from July 7 through July 17 this year.

Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games, though only the first four are scheduled. The fifth game is reserved for either playoff action or a final exhibition, depending on a team’s record through the first quartet of games. The postseason will feature four teams, meaning the two squads that reach the Finals will be the only pair that gets to play six times.

Each game will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks or on NBA TV, as well as the NBA App.

The Pacers schedule for Summer League is listed below:

  • July 8 vs the Washington Wizards, 8 p.m. Eastern Time, ESPN 2
  • July 10 vs the Orlando Magic, 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, NBA TV
  • July 12 vs the Oklahoma City Thunder, 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time, NBA TV
  • July 14 vs the Dallas Mavericks, 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time, NBA TV

The game against the Thunder will be played in Cox Pavilion while the other three will be played in the Thomas & Mack Center. Indiana’s final game(s) will be on the 15th, 16th, or 17th against an opponent to be named later.

The Orlando Magic selected Anthony Black with the sixth overall pick in the NBA Draft and the Washington Wizards drafted Bilal Coulibaly seventh. Those two picks were the two immediately before the Pacers picked Jarace Walker, so those games will have some post-draft intrigue.

Walker will make his first appearance for the franchise in Summer League play, as will other Pacers rookies. Ben Sheppard, Mojave King, and Isaiah Wong were also chosen by the blue and gold in the draft, but King’s status for the coming season and Summer League is less clear.

Other players from the Pacers roster last season, such as Kendall Brown, Jermaine Samuels, Andrew Nembhard, and Gabe York could be candidates to be on the Summer League roster as well. Upcoming two-way signee Oscar Tshiebwe will likely be on the roster.

The Pacers will announce their Summer League roster soon and will have practices in early July. At that time, the team’s coach will be announced too. Last year, assistant Ronald Nored guided the team in Vegas.
