St. Paul, Minn. – Former St. Thomas Men’s Hockey defenseman Trevor Zins re-signed with the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, the team announced Friday morning.
The St. Michael, Minn., native signed a standard player contract with Indy. Zins was signed by the Fuel for an amateur tryout and played six games for the ECHL team at the end of last season.
The Indy Fuel (43-24-5) finished in third place in the Central Division and lost in the first round of the 2022-23 playoffs. Their 2023-24 campaign begins October 20.
Zins spent two seasons as a Tommie and tallied four goals and 16 assists in 69 games on the blue line for coach Rico Blasi.
